More infoIntense blackcurrant and plum with hints of liquorice, spice and chocolate. This offers generous, rich characters of dark berry, plum and mocha with fine, softly textured tannins.
More infoDeep red. The nose shows dark fruit aromas with chocolate and rum and raisin notes. The palate shows intense cassis flavours with creamy oak nuances. The palate is rich and supple with layers of dark plum and marzipan-like fruit. The 2005 Wynns 'Black Label' Cabernet Sauvignon shows 'darker' fruit than the previous three vintages which showed more red fruit and mint flavours. In style, 2005 is more closely aligned with the vintages of 2001, 1999 and 1990.
