Very distintive minty, menthol edge to the ripe damson and blackcurrant fruit nose. Very Australian. The palate is dense, bold and spicy with firm tannins backing up the fruit, keeping it quite savoury and food friendly. Beginning to evolve quite nicely.

This is a good, solid classic Claret that I find very satisfying. It has a well defined spicy, earthy dark fruits nose, which shows a chalky, minerally edge. The palate is spicy and savoury. Classic style.
