Taittinger Brut Reserve in branded gift box

With a higher proportion of Chardonnay in the blend than many Champagnes, elegance, creaminess and subtlety are the hallmarks of Taittinger Reserve NV, which is produced mainly from family-owned vineyards, and left to age for 3 years on its lees, to add to the depth, and complexity of the wine - with a delicate stream of tiny bubbles, and attractive aromas of baked apples, and lemon peel, this has delicacy, yet a creamy weight, full of gentle buttered toast, and orchard fruit flavours - a restrained, and very stylish non-vintage Champagne.

Champagne Taittinger’s origins date back to 1734 with the founding of the original House by Jacques Fourneaux. The Taittinger link was established in 1931 when Pierre Taittinger acquired the House. Pierre had spent much time in the Champagne region when serving in the 1st World War. He was stationed at the Château de la Marquetterie, fell in love with the remarkable property and its vineyards and eventually purchased the company. Today, the Reims based House remains owned and actively managed by the family.
